Let's get this party started!

We offer a beautiful San Juan Islands settings and the much raved about cuisine of our in-house restaurant, the New Leaf Cafe, to make your event truly memorable.   We offer ceremony and reception venues, guest rooms for groups, and a world class restaurant.  The Outlook Inn on Orcas Island has 40 guest rooms in the heart of town for easy access to the amenities and treats of Eastsound, including our independent bookstore,  perfect espresso, buttery flaky croissants, and splurge worthy boutiques.

We're not the most expensive place in the San Juan Islands, and we're not the least expensive (dare we say cheap!!) either.  Our starting cost for a reception package including food and beverage is $85 per person.  Our guest rooms are extremely affordable in the shoulder seasons from (Feb - May and Oct-November) and can reduce the total cost of your destination wedding.

The place to stay on Orcas Island - We spent a four-day weekend on Orcas Island at the Outlook Inn. No question about it, the Outlook Inn is the best hotel with the best restaurant (New Leaf Cafe) on Orcas Island. Rooms are beautiful and well appointed, views of the sound are terrific, service from the staff is outstanding, and the restaurant is fantastic. It’s location in the heart of walkable Eastsound is also a plus.

My wife and I held the reception for our wedding at the Outlook Inn in 2002. It was an absolute success, and the owner Sara Farish continues to deliver a wonderful wedding experience today. If you are considering a destination wedding on Orcas Island, I highly recommend contacting Sara and consider the Outlook Inn for your reception and primary hotel for guests.

We have returned to the Outlook Inn twice since our wedding in 2002, were delighted with our experiences, and look forward to returning in the future.
